Prof. Simko's new book to be honored at the ASA

Prof. Simko‘s new book,The Politics of Consolation: Memory and the Meaning of September 11 (Oxford University Press, 2015), received Honorable Mention for the Mary Douglas Prize for Best Book, awarded annually by the Culture Section of the American Sociological Association. Prof. Simko will receive the award at the ASA’s Annual Meeting in Seattle, WA this August.
